The Beauty of Home Made, Home Grown Vegetables
So Canning seemed the reasonable thing to do. My tomato plants have started dying off because of high heats, and I have been putting bags of red ones in the freezer so I would have enough to make tomato sauce. So I made tomato sauce today.
I had made refrigerator pickles a couple of days ago, too, and put them in a tall jar. My son’s comment upon seeing the pickles was, “They look like the decorator jars of veggies.” They are also yummy, and I think we have forgotten the beauty of home preserved Vegetables.
